Our Food Picks

A curated list of our favourite places to eat

Quick Bites

The Green Shack

Grab and go fresh seafood, an absolute must if you’re a seafood fan. Located on the South pier, it’s the perfect place to enjoy your food and watch ferries come in.

Nories

Our family favourite for a chippy tea, a family run fish and chip shop. Plus it’s just at the end of the road.

Solas Pizza

Delicious Wood fired Pizza. Solas can usually be found at the Whisky Vaults when they are in Oban. Check their facebook for opening times.

Casual Dinner

Cuan Mor

Great for taking the family and loads of choice for everyone. Plus they have a few cocktails to choose from!

Eeusk

Situated on the North pier with great view of Oban Bay, perfect for seafood lovers.

Oban Inn

Our favourite for pub food, a great cosy wee pub and an excellent beer garden if the sun is shining

Something Special

The Fish House

Our favourite for a special occasion, great food and a beautiful setting, again a great one for seafood lovers.

Porcini

Beautifully presented Italian food made with locally sourced ingredients.

Coast

Also just at the end of the road! Great food from land and sea, so a great option if you’re not a fish fan.

A little further out of town

Inverlonan

For an absolutely remarkable and memorable meal we can’t recommend Inverlonan enough - wild dining in a gorgeous setting. A really special treat but 100% worth it.

Approximately 15mins from Oban.

Tigh an Truish

If you fancy a little trip to Seil you can’t miss stopping past Tigh an Truish, excellent food for Lunch or Dinner, and a great beer garden on a sunny day.

Approximately 25mins from Oban.

The Barn Bar

Great country pub vibes. Yummy food and perfect with the family. There is even a great wee playpark outside.

Approximately 12mins from Oban.

If you’re happy travelling even a little further The Pierhouse in Port Appin and The Old Inn in Appin are also worth the visit.
