Terms and Conditions

Bookings

No deposit is required. We simply ask that payment is made on arrival.

Non-Smoking Policy and Pets

Smoking is not permitted in any part of Heatherfield House. Any guests found to be smoking indoors will be asked to leave immediately and may be liable for professional cleaning costs, as well as the outstanding balance for any nights booked but not taken due to early departure.

We are happy to accommodate dogs for an additional charge of £20. Please let us know in advance if you intend to bring your dog. Dogs are not permitted in the dining area, so during breakfast your dog must remain in your room or in your car. Please note that any damage caused by your dog will be chargeable for repair or replacement.

Conditions of Stay

We reserve the right to terminate a booking immediately in cases of unacceptable behaviour, without liability for any refund.

Arrivals

Check-in is available between 16:00 and 19:00. If you require arrival outside these hours, please arrange this directly with us in advance.
If you have not arrived by 19:00 and have not arranged a late check-in, your reservation will be treated as a no-show and cancelled.

Departures

Guests are kindly requested to vacate their rooms by 10:00 on the morning of departure.

Personal Property

We cannot accept responsibility for the loss of, or damage to, guests’ personal property or vehicles.

Faults and Complaints

We encourage guests to speak to us during their stay if any issues arise, so that we can address them promptly. As a small family business, we are committed to providing excellent hospitality.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel your booking, please give as much notice as possible so that we may try to re-let the room.

Damage and Theft

In the event of damage—accidental or otherwise—we reserve the right to charge for the cost of repair or replacement.
If any property belonging to the house is removed, the cost of replacement with new goods will be charged to the customer’s credit or debit card, and the customer will be informed.

These terms and conditions are in place to protect all parties. By making a booking, you are deemed to have accepted them.
